Golf in Ban Chang

Thailand is a fantastic country for golfers. Exotic climate, low green fees, first class service and excellent facilities make Thailand a true golfers´ paradise.

Within 20 minutes by car from Nathalie Garden there is 4 excellent golf courses. For exempel is greenfee at 18 hole on certain days - sportsday during low season only 400-700 THB (appr 90-160 SEK).

In Thailand you are welcome to play on all courses irrespective of your handicap. There are many slot times available on golf courses along the Eastern Seaboard and booking of tee-times are rarely required. The weather is one reason why Thailand can offer world class golfing. You can enter any course at any time of the year, even during the rainy season. This is because it normally only rains for a couple of hours before the sun breaks out again.

In the Ban Chang area there are some 20 high class golf courses. Here are a few recommendations: St. Andrews 2000, Eastern Star Golf Resort & Country Club, Rayong Green Valley Country Club, Phoenix Golf & Country Club.

St. Andrews and Green Valley belong to the same resort. As implied by the name, St. Andrews 2000 is designed (by Desmond Muirhead) to recreate a similar feeling as if playing on the Scottish course with the same name. The course is a true challenge to be ranked amongst the top courses in the country. As an example, holes 4 and 13 are 770 and 771 m long, respectively. Rayong Green Valley is a beautiful course designed by Peter Thompson and Michael Wolveridge.
